Savage Arms Releases 110 Rifles Chambered in Hornady’s 300 PRC

Last Friday, Savage Arms announced in a press release the addition of four new rifles to the 110 lineup chambered in 300 PRC. The 300 PRC by Hornady came out of a Department of Defense extended long range sniper program. The DoD was looking for a round that provided consistent long range results with lighter recoil. Hornady’s 300 PRC was the round that reigned supreme and won the DoD contract.

SIG MCX Vritus PCP Air Rifle Now Avaiable

Last Thursday, Sig Sauer announced the release of the new SIG SAUER MCX Virtus PCP Air Rifle. The airsoft rifle is a faithful one to one recreation of Sig’s MCX Virtus patrol rifle that is chambered in 5.56/300 blackout. The air rifle variant of the Sig MCX Virtus is available in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) or Grey. The MCX will feature a 16” barrel, Sig’s Matchlite Duo Trigger, and weighing in at 8 pounds.

Wilson Combat Introduces The Wilson Combat P320 Carry

Back in April Wilson Combat released their first collaboration between Wilson Combat and Sig Sauer with the Wilson Combat P320. The WCP320 took Wilson’s signature design elements and parts and infused it into the P320 platform. On Tuesday, Wilson Combat published a press release introducing the new Wilson Combat P320 Carry to their P320 lineup.

CMMG Offers The Endeavor and Resolute Rifles In 6.5 Grendel

Last week, CMMG introduced to new variants of the Endeavor and Resolute chambered in Hornady’s new 6mm ARC. This week the company is releasing the Endeavor and Resolute rifles chambered in 6.5 Grendel. The Endeavor will be your Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) and the Resolute will be your 16” modern AR platform. The Endeavor will retail at $1,699.95 MSRP. The Resolute will retail for $150 dollars less at $1,549.95 MSRP.

Winchester Ammunition Awarded DoD Contract For Frangible Ammunition

Recently, Winchester was awarded a Department of Defense contract to provide frangible 9mm ammunition for indoor and outdoor CQB training. The contract from the DoD is valued at $38 million dollars. The contract with Winchester has an indefinite-delivery date and quantity for the frangible ammunition. The contract between Winchester and the DoD has the potential expansion of compensation up to $62 million dollars for Winchester.
