I am seeking to appeal to all demographics so from the novice, to experienced, along with LE and military communities. Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.

When suppressing an AR-15, one of the things end users have to contend with is the gases being pushed back into their faces while shooting suppressed. As time has passed, adjustable gas blocks and gas-busting charging handles were designed to help mitigate the gases the end user is exposed to. Gemtech has taken it further and introduced their new GVAC upper receivers.
Gemtech is well-known within the industry for making robust and innovative suppressor systems. That desire for innovation has led to their newest .30 caliber suppressor, the Neutron 7.62. The Neutron was designed to strike the perfect balance between size, strength, and weight. This suppressor can be used on a short-barreled rifle, designated marksman rifle, or hunting rifle.
SIG Sauer’s presence wasn’t felt on this year’s Shot Show floor, but the firearms manufacturer did host an exclusive range day for shooters to test various upcoming SIG products. One of the new products unveiled by SIG SAUER was the Romeo M17 red dot sight.
Holosun released a slew of products at Shot Show 2023. The company debuted two red dot sights with thermal and night vision capabilities, expanded its SCS lineup, and introduced a new closed emitter for the SIG P320. Not to be outdone, Holosun also introduced their 507 Competition red dot sight.
Nocturn Industries is a small innovative company that produces quality night vision at a reasonable price. At Shot Show, Nocturn Industries announced the new metal Samurai and Manticore along with the Daisho bridge. The Samurai and Manticore will now feature aluminum housings, and both will be dual-tube setups. At the same time, the Daisho bridge will allow you to turn mono night vision into a bino night vision setup.
Innovation is needed to keep the industry healthy, growing, and adapting to changing markets. Innovation is also necessary to help push companies to provide a better end-user experience with their products. So, innovation and ingenuity are core principles of this industry. One company innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible is Nocturn Industries.
Leupold is well-known for making well-built, rugged, well-designed optics and red dots. One of Leupold’s most popular lineups is the Mark 5 series of riflescopes, which offers shooters various optics to fit their shooting disciplines. At Shot Show 2023, Leupold introduced the Mark 5HD 2-10×30 riflescope.
Gemtech is well-known for making innovative, robust, and rugged suppressors. Their desire for innovation has led to their newest suppressor, the Abyss. The Abyss is a dedicated 5.56 suppressor that can reliably run .223 REM, 5.56 NATO, 6mm ARC, and 5.7x28mm. Gemtech designed the Abyss to be a hard-use suppressor that can be used on various barrel lengths. The Abyss is made of stainless steel and titanium and finished with a high-temperature Cerakote.
At Shot Show, Midwest Industries released the second generation of Alpha series accessories for the AK Platform. The 2nd generation includes top covers, handguards, stocks, and optic mounts for the AK platform.
Holosun had a slew of new optics introduced at Shot Show 2023. One of those new products released by Holosun was a new reflex sight. Holosun proudly presents its latest red dot sight—meet the Solar Charging Reflex Sight, or SCRS for short.
Dead Air is known for making high-quality, rugged, and reliable suppressors. At Shot Show, Dead Air announced their new Mojave 9 suppressor. The Mojave 9 is a 3-D printed modular suppressor featuring titanium baffles and a lightweight design. The baffles are designed to create reduce blowback and allow for optimal signature reduction.
Since their creation, Surefire muzzle devices and suppressors have been a proprietary technology for the company. Before, end users didn’t have any options for choosing a suppressor outside of Surefire’s ecosystem until now. At this year’s Shot Show, B&T announced new suppressors compatible with Surefire muzzle devices.
