Recently, the beta dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have been officially confirmed, marking the first time the beta will be available on all platforms simultaneously.
This detail was revealed during the Call of Duty Podcast on YouTube (via CharlieIntel). The Black Ops 6 beta will be available on the following dates:
• Early Access: August 30 – September 4
• Open Beta: September 6 – September 9
Over the past several years, Call of Duty’s betas have been exclusively on Sony’s PlayStation due to the exclusivity agreement Activision Blizzard signed in 2015. Early access to the beta will be available to players who pre-order Black Ops 6 or to the appropriate tier of Game Pass subscribers.
Back in May, Black Ops 6 was revealed to be co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. Then in June, Activision released an in-depth video and a host of details on the new Black Ops 6, covering the campaign, gameplay mechanics, and multiplayer. Black Ops 6 takes place during the 1990s and is the direct sequel to Cold War.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 25.
