B&T AG announces plans to establish a new Swiss-owned U.S. operation amid its ongoing dispute with B&T USA. The move aims to restore direct control over manufacturing, distribution, and support for B&T products in the American market.
B&T USA has issued an official response after B&T AG terminated its licensing agreement, addressing ongoing operations, U.S. trademark ownership, warranty support, and what the dispute means for dealers and consumers.
Last year at Shot Show, B&T introduced their partnership with Surefire, where they would be manufacturing B&T suppressors compatible with Surefire muzzle devices. Surefire reached a licensing agreement to allow B&T to use the company’s patented SOCOM Fast-Attach® line of suppressor-mounting muzzle devices. Now, B&T is expanding that offering with their newest suppressor mount, the Rotex-SF HUB adapter.
B&T is known for making robust, reliable, and precise firearms, suppressors, and accessories. The company’s Swiss roots of precision and mechanical excellence shine through its entire lineup of unique products. Recently, its American subsidiary B&T USA announced the limited run of APC9K SD2. The B&T APC9K SD2 is an integrally suppressed submachine gun with a scalable suppression system.
At this year’s Shot Show, B&T announced they would produce suppressors compatible with Surefire muzzle devices. B&T USA has recently announced they have exclusive rights to manufacture suppressors that utilize Surefire QD muzzle devices. This partnership is the first of its kind for Surefire.
Yesterday, FRAC, SB Tactical, B&T USA, Rick Cicero, and 25 states are suing the ATF, AG Garland, and Steven Dettelbach, the Director of the ATF. The lawsuit was filed less than two weeks after the pistol brace rule was submitted to the Federal Registry. This new ruling considers ARs with pistol braces short barrel rifles, thus making them an NFA item regulated by the ATF.
