After years of anticipation, Extraction 3 is finally moving forward.
According to a exclusive article from Deadline, the next chapter in Netflix’s high-octane action franchise is set to begin filming this summer. After more than three years after the project was first announced. For fans of the series, it’s been a long wait to see where the story of Tyler Rake goes next.
Production Finally Gains Momentum
Filming for Extraction 3 is expected to take place between June and October, with production spanning both Australia and Europe. This global footprint mirrors the scale and intensity the franchise has become known for.
One notable change behind the scenes is the shift in writing duties, with David Weil stepping in to take over from Anthony Russo.

The Russo Brothers will return as producers, alongside Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco, and Ari Costa under AGBO. Additional producers include Chris Hemsworth and Benjamin Grayson for Wild State, as well as Sam Hargrave, Patrick Newall, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwerin.
