Flux Defense Drops Raider X Chop Top Mod: A Streamlined Take on the Flux PDW Platform

Flux Defense expands its Raider lineup with the introduction of the Raider X Chop Top also known as the “El Camino.” This latest variant builds on the proven Raider platform while introducing a more streamlined, low-profile configuration designed for enhanced concealability and performance.

A More Compact, Purpose-Driven Design

The Raider X Chop Top is engineered with concealment and mobility in mind. By adopting a “drop top” configuration, Flux has reduced the overall profile of the chassis, making it easier to stow in a backpack or compact EDC crossbody bag without sacrificing capability.

One of the most notable improvements is the shift in optics mounting. Unlike the original Raider, which mounts optics to the rear chassis, the Chop Top allows users to mount optics directly to the slide. This results in a lower height-over-bore for red dot optics reducing holdover at close distances and improving accuracy in confined or fast-moving engagements.

Final Thoughts & Availability

With the Raider X Chop Top, Flux Defense continues to refine what a modern PDW chassis system can be. By lowering the optic mounting position and reducing overall bulk, the Chop Top variant delivers a more efficient, adaptable platform without compromising the core strengths of the Raider chassis.

The Raider X Chop Top is available now in black and FDE configurations, with an MSRP of $469. For users looking to enhance concealability while maintaining capability, this latest evolution offers a compelling option within the growing PDW chassis space.
