On Thursday, FN Browning Group announced the acquisition of Accuracy International, the renowned precision rifle manufacturer based in Portsmouth, England, through an official press release. FN described the move as a strategic acquisition agreement aimed at bringing one of the world’s premier manufacturers of precision bolt-action rifles into the FN Browning Group portfolio.
According to FN Browning Group, the acquisition represents a strategic and complementary partnership that strengthens the company’s position in both the international defense market and the civilian hunting and shooting sectors. The addition of Accuracy International also supports the United Kingdom’s sovereign small-arms industrial capabilities.
Accuracy International will retain its brand identity and operational autonomy while operating under the FN Browning Group umbrella.
