CMMG Br4

Since its inception, the Dissent series from CMMG has steadily gained a foothold within the AR market with its bufferless design. This innovation allows the Dissent lineup of rifles to do things a typical AR-15 can’t, such as the ability to fold the stock and fire when folded. Now, CMMG charges forward, expanding the Dissent lineup with the new Br4 rifle.

The Dissent Br4 was designed to provide law-abiding citizens with options for a versatile rifle suitable for self-defense, hunting, and recreation. With the ever-changing landscape of laws and regulations that restrict the possession or purchase of AR-15s in certain states, many are left with few choices for a quality rifle they can depend on when it counts. This is where the Br4 comes into play.

CMMG aimed to make the Br4 legal in all 50 states but fell short of that goal by three: New York, Illinois, and Washington. Although banned in these states, the Br4 is compliant in 47 states, allowing citizens to own a quality rifle they can trust.

The Dissent Br4 will feature the Dissent Mk4 upper receivers, a reversible cross-bolt safety, ambidextrous controls, a Remington 870 stock, and will be available in seven calibers and two barrel lengths. The Br4 will be released this July by CMMG. For more information on the Br4 and the entire Dissent lineup, click here.
