Night Fision Announces Acquisition of Zaffiri Precision at SHOT Show 2026

Night Fision, one of the most recognizable names in tritium iron sights and optic mounting solutions, has announced the acquisition of Zaffiri Precision. Revealed on the first official day of Shot Show 2026, the announcement came amid the noticeable absence of a Zaffiri Precision booth on the Caesars Forum show floor. The acquisition positions Night Fision to vertically integrate its development pipeline while gaining access to one of the most established aftermarket pistol component catalogs on the market.

The decision to acquire Zaffiri Precision appears to be a calculated step toward streamlining the journey from research and development to full-scale production. By bringing Zaffiri in-house, Night Fision expands beyond just sights and optic plates into barrels, slides, compensators, and small parts for popular platforms including Glock, SIG Sauer, and Springfield Armory.

Below is Night Fision’s official press release detailing the acquisition of Zaffiri Precision.

NIGHT FISION TEAM TO ACQUIRE ZAFFIRI PRECISION

DEARBORN, MI. (January 20, 2025) – Night Fision, a recognized leader in advanced tritium insertion, iron sight solutions, and optic plate adaptors, is heading into SHOT Show with several significant announcements and product updates.

Chief among them is the acquisition of Zaffiri Precision by the team behind Night Fision. This strategic move supports Night Fision’s long-term goals of expanding its aftermarket offerings while creating a more streamlined path from product development through final delivery.

Based in Largo, Florida, Zaffiri Precision has established itself as a standout brand in the aftermarket space, known for its uniquely styled slides and barrels that distinguish it from a crowded competitive landscape. In recent years, Zaffiri Precision has expanded its portfolio to include compensators, complete pistol upper kits, and small parts for Glock, Sig Sauer, and Springfield platforms. Plans are already in place to continue growing the Zaffiri Precision brand while preserving the individuality and design-forward identity that customers value.

“This acquisition brings together two complementary brands with a shared focus on high-precision aftermarket upgrades,” said CJ Karchon, owner of Night Fision. “By combining our expertise in iron sight systems with Zaffiri Precision’s strength in CNC-machined slides and barrels, we’re enhancing our ability to serve OEMs, dealers, and end users with more integrated solutions. We see this as a long-term investment in domestic manufacturing, innovation, and the continued growth of the firearms industry.”

For inquiries, media requests, or dealer meetings during SHOT Show, attendees are encouraged to visit the Night Fision booth, #12254.

In addition to the acquisition announcement, Night Fision will be unveiling new unified packaging designed to benefit both consumers and dealers. The bright, highly visible color-coded system allows customers to quickly identify firearm compatibility from across the counter, while also aiding dealers with more efficient inventory organization. First introduced with Night Fision’s optic plates and optic plate combinations, this packaging system will now be extended across the full line of iron sight products.

Night Fision will also be showcasing a mix of current and new products from Glow Rhino, Night Fision Arms, and Cammenga in its expanded booth space, located at Booth 12254, Venetian Expo, Level 2, main floor.

Looking Ahead

As Night Fision and Zaffiri Precision move forward under one umbrella, the larger question becomes what this acquisition means for the consumer market. Will Zaffiri continue to operate as a distinct brand with its own product identity, or will it evolve into a dedicated manufacturing and innovation arm for Night Fision’s expanding ecosystem? For end users, the potential upside is clear: tighter quality control, faster product development, and a more cohesive lineup of components designed to work together. How that vision materializes will ultimately be defined not by announcements, but by the products that follow.
