QILO Tactical x SC Irregulars Ostwind Multicam Jacket Arrives Tomorrow

QILO Tactical has built its reputation on blending modern streetwear aesthetics with military-inspired functionality, creating apparel that performs as well as it looks. SC Irregulars, led by founder Slade Cutrer, is equally respected within the firearms community for producing thoughtful accessories designed to improve the end-user experience on your rifle. Now, the two brands have joined forces for the final jacket release of the season: the Ostwind jackets in Mutlicam and Multicam Black.

“Ostwind,” which translates to “easterly wind” in German, represents a milestone for QILO. It is the company’s first insulated mid-layer jacket, designed to deliver versatility across a wide range of weather conditions while maintaining the brand’s distinctive design language.

Built for Movement and the Weather

The Ostwind was engineered as a true three-season solution. When static, the jacket is rated for temperatures ranging from the low 30s to the mid-60s °F. If a person is being while wearing the jacket, testing has shown it can remain comfortable down to approximately 15°F with only a T-shirt underneath.

That performance envelope positions the Ostwind as an ideal “throw-it-on” mid layer jacket, something that transitions seamlessly from range use to everyday wear from fall through spring.

The collaboration introduces two camouflage variants: Multicam and Multicam Black. Both maintain the tactical heritage aesthetic while remaining wearable in urban environments.

Materials and Construction

The Ostwind combines technical fabrics with mobility-focused paneling to balance insulation, breathability, and weather resistance:

• Nylon face fabric with C0 DWR and PU coating for water resistance

• Stretch fleece body side panels for breathability and freedom of movement

• Lycra stretch sleeve cuffs for comfort and seal

• Short-staple synthetic insulation for lightweight warmth

Functional design elements include:

• Zippered chest pocket and hand pockets

• Silicone-dipped zipper pulls for improved grip

• Bungee adjustment at the waist and hood

• Internal cable-routing loops and pass-through points

These features reinforce the jacket’s intended role as a practical performance layer rather than purely lifestyle apparel.

Collaboration Identity

Branding reflects the partnership between both companies while promoting both brands fairly and seamlessly featuring:

• SC Irregulars logo on the chest

• QILO logo on the rear shoulder

• “Resist Unto Death” motto printed along the right forearm sleeve

The result is a piece that merges identity, function, and culture which is something both brands have consistently emphasized in their respective product lines.

Availability and Pricing

The QILO Tactical  and SC Irregulars Ostwind jacket releases Friday at 3 PM EST with an MSRP of $240.

For those looking for a mid layer jacket that bridges tactical utility and modern design, the Ostwind represents one of the more interesting outerwear collaborations of the season.
