CZ Unveils the TS3 Orange at  IWA 2026

At IWA 2026, CZ officially introduced the TS3 Orange, the latest evolution of its competition-focused pistol lineup. Developed specifically for shooters competing in IPSC and USPSA Limited Optics divisions, the TS3 Orange refines the proven TS platform with upgraded ergonomics, a redesigned slide, and a purpose-built single-action competition trigger.

The TS3 Orange features a completely redesigned slide with aggressive front and rear cocking serrations and additional weight cuts intended to reduce reciprocating mass during firing. The slide is finished in CZ’s BoBox nitriding treatment, improving corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

CZ also engineered the slide with a direct-mount optics interface, eliminating the need for adapter plates. The cut accepts several popular footprints including RMR, RMSc, DeltaPoint Pro, and Holosun K-pattern optics, giving competitors flexibility when choosing their preferred red-dot sight.

Each TS3 Orange is hand-fitted by an experienced CZ gunsmith, ensuring optimal fitment between the slide, barrel, and frame. This careful fitting process is designed to maximize both mechanical accuracy and reliability.

The pistol features a polished cold hammer–forged barrel with a redesigned crown intended to enhance match-grade accuracy. CZ also backs the barrel with a lifetime warranty, reinforcing the company’s confidence in the platform’s long-term durability.

Ergonomics Built for Competition

The TS3 Orange introduces a redesigned steel frame with a deeper undercut beneath the trigger guard and an extended beavertail. These changes allow shooters to establish a higher grip on the pistol, improving recoil management and sight tracking during rapid fire.

Enhanced G10 composite grip panels further refine the pistol’s ergonomics, offering a distinctive texture designed for consistent traction through extended match use.

Refined Controls for Faster Handling

CZ paid close attention to the control layout on the TS3 Orange. A new thumb rest with a higher back profile helps prevent unwanted contact with the slide, while the manual safety mirrors the same 25-degree angle as the thumb rest for intuitive hand placement and a repeatable grip.

The magwell has also been completely redesigned, now wider and longer with a flared transition that eliminates the stepped ledge found on the previous TS2. This design promotes faster, more forgiving reloads under match pressure.

Additionally, the magazine release is adjustable across five positions, allowing shooters to tailor placement for their individual hand size and shooting style.

Magazine capacity remains 20+1 rounds, keeping the pistol compliant with IPSC Standard and Limited Optics division capacity rules.

Optimized Single-Action Competition Trigger

The TS3 Orange utilizes a single-action-only trigger system designed specifically for competitive shooting. The trigger allows adjustable pre-travel and overtravel, paired with a clearly defined wall and a short, tactile reset.

For competitors who stage the trigger during precision shots or ride the reset during rapid strings, the improved trigger system offers enhanced control and consistency.

Compatibility with TS2 Components

Importantly, CZ designed the TS3 Orange to maintain compatibility with many TS2 aftermarket components. Springs, trigger shoes, safeties, and other performance parts carry over to the new platform, protecting the investment many competitive shooters have already made in the previous generation.
