Vortex Optics Expands Strike Eagle Lineup With New 1-10×24 FFP LPVO
Last week Vortex Optics has introduced its first meaningful update to its Strike Eagle lineup with the release of the Strike Eagle 1-10×24 FFP, expanding its offerings in the increasingly competitive low power variable optic (LPVO) space.
Until now, the only 1-10x LPVO in Vortex’s lineup has been the Razor HD Gen III 1-10×24 FFP, a premium optic that while highly regarded sits at a price point that places it out of reach for a large portion of the market. The new Strike Eagle aims to bridge that gap by delivering similar versatility and performance at a more accessible price.
Design and Features
The Strike Eagle 1-10×24 FFP features a compact design, utilizes an illuminated EBR-8 reticle (MOA or MRAD), capped turrets, and motion-activated illumination with auto shutoff.
These features allow for rapid engagement in close quarters and quick PID and splash confidently out to 600m. The capped turrets allow for a consistent zero and motion-activated illumination with auto shutoff helps preserve battery.
Below is the product description and features of the new Strike Eagle LPVO from Vortex.

Key Features
XD™ OPTICAL SYSTEM
Premium optical system delivers impressive resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness, greatly reduces chromatic aberration, and guarantees bright, high-contrast images.
MOTION ACTIVATION WITH 10 MINUTE AUTO-SHUTOFF
Automatically activates with motion while 10 minute auto-shutoff saves battery life.
FIRST FOCAL PLANE RETICLE
A first focal plane reticle is located within the riflescope near the windage and elevation turrets. The scale of reticle remains in proportion to the zoomed image. Constant subtensions allow accurate holdover and ranging at all magnifications. The reticle’s size will appear larger at high magnifications and smaller at low magnification.
THROW LEVER
The included throw lever can be installed for quick and easy magnification adjustments.
ILLUMINATED RETICLE
Provides precise aiming under low-light conditions.
FULLY MULTI-COATED LENSES
Anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces provide increased light transmission for optimal clarity and low-light performance.

Price & Availability
With the Strike Eagle 1-10×24 FFP, Vortex Optics, is making a clear push to bring 1-10x LPVO capability to a broader audience. The optic carries an MSRP of $999, but is currently being listed at $699 at retailers like EuroOptic, Kenzie’s Optics, and Mile High Shooting.
It remains to be seen whether this lower price reflects introductory pricing or a long-term market position. However, if the Strike Eagle delivers strong performance relative to its cost, it has the potential to become one of the most impactful LPVO releases of the year, especially for shooters looking to balance performance, durability, and value.
