Icon Defense has officially entered the monolithic upper receiver space with the release of its Billet Monolithic Collection, marking a notable shift in a category long dominated by Lewis Machine & Tool (LMT).
For over a decade, LMT maintained a stronghold on the monolithic upper market due to its Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) patent, originally filed in 2002 and granted in 2012. With that patent now expired, other manufacturers are free to develop their own one-piece upper receiver systems. This opens the door for Icon Defense, formerly known as Mega Arms, to step into the space.

A more traditional tactical configuration, this variant features a 10.75-inch quad rail, offering ample space for accessories while maintaining the structural advantages of a one-piece system.
M-LOK Billet Upper
Designed for modern shooters, this version pairs a 10.75-inch M-LOK handguard with the monolithic upper receiver, providing a lightweight and modular mounting solution.
