Hornady’s 6.5 Creedmoor Ammunition Chosen By The Department Of Defense For New AR-10
The DoD is phasing our the Mk13 bolt action rifle and replaced with an semi-automatic AR-10 platform chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. With the change in Weapon platform and ammunition the DoD is looking for a new ammunition provider. Hornday was awarded the contact to produce ammo for the new AR-10 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.
