Today, marks the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. A day that will live in infamy in American history. On that morning 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists took control of four flights and caused tremendous loss of life on American soil. Two of those flights destroyed a symbol of American society and prosperity, The Twin Towers in New York City.
Yesterday, afternoon a 21-year old man decided to walk into a Wal-Mart in El Paso, TX with an AK-47 and evil intent in his heart. With a calm and ruthless demeanor he begins to shoot indiscriminately into a busy crowd of shoppers. Killing 20 and injuring 26 in the deadly aftermath of his shooting.
On Sunday, Easter Morning at approximately 08:45 local time coordinated suicide bombings took place in Sri Lankan cities of Colombo, Negombo, and Batticaloa. These coordinated suicide bombings targeted churches, hotels, and other sites. The suicide bombings of Easter Sunday have killed over 300 people.
