(09/10/24) – Springfield Armory® is proud to introduce the Echelon™ 4.5F 9mm Pistol with Manual Safety, offering a new option in this highly regarded line of fully ambidextrous, striker-fired duty pistols. The Echelon series has set a new benchmark for modern handguns, and this latest model further enhances its versatility.
The manual safety on the new Echelon variant is frame-mounted at the rear and designed for ambidextrous use. It’s easy to engage and disengage, with the safety lever featuring the same textured pattern as the rest of the pistol, ensuring seamless integration into the ergonomic design. This addition provides an extra layer of security to an already reliable and durable firearm.
The Echelon pistol is a full-size, duty-grade 9mm that is both adaptable and high-performing. At the core of the Echelon is its patent-pending Central Operating Group—a fully self-contained, serialized stainless steel chassis. This modular system allows for quick and easy movement between grip modules in seconds. Additionally, the Echelon features the innovative Variable Interface System, a patent-pending design that utilizes self-locking pins to accommodate more than 30 of today’s most popular pistol optics through direct mounting.
Equipped with U-Dot™ tritium/luminescent sights, the Echelon with Manual Safety guarantees superior accuracy, further enhanced by its hammer-forged 4.5” barrel. Each pistol comes with one 17-round and one 20-round magazine, with 15-round and 10-round versions also available for restricted jurisdictions. The MSRP for all variants is set at $679.
