Over the last few years, we have seen an influx of striker fire pistols to the market. We have witnessed SIG’s successful P320, Walther’s PDP, and CZ’s P-10. Springfield Armory was one of the first competitors to Glock’s polymer striker-fired pistol with the XD pistol. After twenty-four years, Springfield Armory is looking to introduce the next evolution in their striker-fire guns with the Springfield Echelon.
