The eXperior Elite Commander builds on the foundation of Wilson Combat’s X9 platform, combining 1911 ergonomics with modern double-stack capacity.
At its core, the pistol is designed to deliver a balance of accuracy, durability, and carry-ready performance.
The pistol features a Tri-Top stainless slide with front and rear serrations, paired with an optics-ready slide ready to mount user’s optic of choice.
Performance remains a focus. The match-grade fluted bull barrel with a reverse crown supports Wilson Combat’s 1.5-inch accuracy guarantee at 25 yards, paired with a crisp 3.5–4.5 lb trigger pull.

The eXperior Elite Commander Double Stack blends the proven ergonomics of the X9 platform with modern high-capacity performance. This precision-engineered pistol delivers exceptional accuracy, durability, and everyday carry performance. An updated high-capacity aluminum frame with integrated light rail and magwell provides strength and versatility, while TRAK textured frontstrap and backstrap surfaces and aggressive G10 Starburst grips ensure positive control in all conditions.
The Tri-Top stainless slide pairs with a match-grade fluted bull barrel with flush-cut reverse crown to deliver Wilson Combat’s 1.5” accuracy guarantee at 25 yards. Equipped with Bullet Proof® components, a crisp 3.5 – 4.5 lb trigger, and Wilson Combat’s Pin Mounting Platform for direct-mount optics, the eXperior Elite Double Stack represents the modern evolution of the high-capacity 1911.
