Springfield Armory Expands Waypoint 2020 Rifle Series

Last week, Springfield Armory announced the expansion of its popular Waypoint 2020 bolt-action rifle series. The new rifles feature AG Composite carbon-fiber stocks finished in SG-100 Cerakote. Springfield’s new Waypoint variants are chambered in .308 WIN, 7mm PRC, and .300 WIN MAG, offering consumers both short and long-action models.

Springfield’s newest entries into the Waypoint 2020 series offer users popular calibers including .308 WIN, 7mm PRC, and .300 WIN MAG. The rifles are designed for hunting medium to large game such as deer, elk, and moose.

The use of a carbon-fiber stock finished with SG-100 Cerakote provides a lightweight and durable platform for varied weather conditions and climates. This creates a rifle that can be carried during a long hunt or attached to a pack while navigating austere environments to a campsite or hunting grounds.

The incorporation of a TriggerTech adjustable trigger and the option to mount a suppressor allow hunters to tailor their Waypoint to their specific needs.
