Colt’s Manufacturing Company partners with CNC Firearms to re-release the rare Colt BOA .357 Magnum revolver. Originally limited to 1,200 units in 1985, the BOA returns in 4-inch and 6-inch configurations, featuring a Trooper MK V frame paired with a Python-style barrel. Available now with an MSRP of $1,999.
Česká zbrojovka better known as CZ, is in negotiations to acquire Colt Manufacturing. Colt, is one of the oldest and longest running U.S. firearm manufacturers in US history. Now, the company is on the verge of being acquired by one of Europe’s leading firearm brands in CZ.
About two weeks ago, Colt began manufacturing AR-15’s for the civilian market again. This was first reported on by Mark Keefe from American Rifleman.
Recently, the DoD has solicited both FN and Colt to compete for foreign military contracts to produce M16A4s. The DoD foreign contract is worth up to $383 million dollars. The M16A4s would be produced for U.S. Allied Nations such as Iraq, Lebanon, and Nepal. Estimated completion date for the foreign contract is April 2025.
