Today, at Apple’s exclusive September event, Apple revealed new details about its Arcade subscription service Apple Arcade. The new arcade subscription service will be released September 19th a day before the launch of the iPhone 11 goes on sale. Apple Arcade price point will be $4.99 a month with a one month free trail.

One subscription will allow the whole family to download and play games included in the service. Which is a nice touch by Apple because paying for multiple subscription would have been lame. How many can be allowed on one Apple Arcade subscription? That is my question to Apple.

The announcement of the new Arcade service came apart of a stage presentation where Apple highlighted a few exclusive games coming to the service. During the presentation Apple showed off exclusive games from Capcom, Konami, and Annapurna. Capcom debuted Shinsekai Into The Depths, an underwater exploration game.  Konami showed a trailer for a new take on the classic Frogger game, which includes a Super Frogger. Finally, Annapurna announced Sayonara Wild Hearts.

The service will launch with 100 games, more exclusives than any other service at launch, and a dedicated Arcade tab with new games added monthly. Apple Arcade hits our iPhones September 19th.
