Parker Mountain Machine(PMM) is renowned for making some of the best pistol compensators on the market. The company seamlessly blends design and science into their compensators to provide the greatest reduction in felt recoil, resulting in a flatter-shooting pistol that stays on target. Now, that same level of detail, precision, and data analysis has been applied to the 10mm pistol platform. Parker Mountain Machine is proud to introduce their newest compensator, the PMM Ultra Compensator for the FN 510 pistol.

Parker Mountain Machine extensively tested this compensator with multiple brands and grain weights of ammunition to ensure it functioned properly. The team at PMM tested 1,000 FPS, 1250 FPS, and 1350 FPS ammunition. With 1,000 FPS ammunition, the compensator provided a 56% reduction in muzzle climb, while 1,250 FPS ammunition reduced muzzle climb by 62%. The PMM Ultra Comp provides a significant reduction in muzzle rise and recoil, allowing the FN 510 to shoot flatter and giving the shooter the ability to engage their target more effectively than without it.

Below are the press product details for the PMM Ultra Compensator for the FN 510 pistol.

Product Details

Recoil Reduction:

• 56% reduction in muzzle climb (tested with Winchester 180 grain)

• 62% reduction in muzzle climb (tested with Magtech 180 grain)

Ammo & Recoil Reduction:

• During the testing of this compensator, several different brands and grains of 10mm ammo were used.

• 1000 FPS range: This range includes cheaper range ammo closer to the pressures of .40 S&W. These yielded results around 56% with brands like Winchester and S&B. While this type of ammo was tested to ensure the compensator would function, it is not the primary purpose of 10mm.

• 1250 FPS range: This range is more akin to “true” 10mm. At 62%, this is the highest performance achieved with any compensator so far. Though it still delivers a punch in the palm of your hand, the sights track much like a 9mm, leading to impressive performance for defensive or hunting use, with significantly reduced split times for accurate fire on target.

• 1350 FPS range: These are your Buffalo Bore, Underwood, and hand loads pushing the envelope of 10mm. During ransom rest testing, baseline (no compensator) tests maxed out the range of the ransom, giving inaccurate data. With the compensator, the same batch of Buffalo Bore was reduced to a climb in the low 40 degrees, still a substantial reduction wherever that true number would land.
