Streamlight has unveiled its latest TLR-8 series weapon lights at Shot Show 2025, introducing multi-fuel models with both red and green laser options. Designed for full-size, compact, and subcompact handguns, these new additions deliver 500 lumens of output, ambidextrous controls, and multiple lighting modes. With the ability to run on either a CR123A lithium battery or Streamlight’s SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack, the updated lineup offers shooters greater versatility, reliability, and performance in any scenario.

Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, launched multi-fuel models of its TLR-8 line of laser-equipped tactical weapon lights, designed to provide extreme brightness in tactical situations, while also offering users USB or disposable battery options. The new lights include the TLR-8X with red laser and the TLR-8 XG with green laser for full-size and compact railed handguns, and the TLR-8X sub with red laser and the TLR-8X G sub with green laser, available to fit select GLOCK®, SIG SAUER®, Springfield Armory®, and many 1913 short railed subcompact handguns.

Multi-Fuel Power Options

The new models feature dual power compatibility, allowing users to choose between a CR123A lithium battery or Streamlight’s SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable battery pack. This flexibility ensures continued operation regardless of battery availability or user preference.

Optimized Illumination and Laser Options

Each model delivers 500 lumens and 5,000 candela, projecting a focused beam with 141 meters of range. Users can select between red (640-660nm) or green (510-530nm) lasers, with green offering improved visibility in daylight conditions.

Multiple Lighting Modes

All models include three adjustable modes:

• LED/Laser Combined

• Laser Only

Run times vary based on the power source:

• CR123A battery: 1.5 hours (LED or LED/Laser mode), 60 hours (Laser Only mode)

• SL-B9 battery pack: 1 hour (LED or LED/Laser mode), 36 hours (Laser Only mode)

• Constructed from 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish
