PSA Completes the Mixtape Vol. 1 Platform With the Sabre Mixtape 300 Ti Suppressor

Palmetto State Armory (PSA) has continued to expand the Sabre Mixtape series with the release of the Mixtape-300 titanium suppressor, a project developed in collaboration with B&T USA.

Within PSA’s Sabre lineup, the Mixtape label has effectively become the company’s special projects division, a space where engineers and designers explore unconventional builds under the simple premise of “what if we built this?” From there, the internal team collaborates with vendors for parts and accessory that aren’t in-house to turn experimental concepts into real-world firearms platforms.

The first project under the banner was the Sabre Mixtape Vol. 1 AR pistol, chambered in 300 Blackout, which debuted alongside a prototype suppressor still in development at the time. With the arrival of the Mixtape-300 suppressor, owners of the Mixtape pistol  can now complete the intended configuration of the platform.

It allows the Mixtape Vol. 1 to reach its perfect, final form. It’s reminiscent of when Cell finally absorbs Android 18 to become Perfect Cell in Dragon Ball Z. The Mixtape Vol. 1 has finally become the build it was always meant to be.

Designed Alongside the Mixtape Platform

The Sabre Mixtape-300 suppressor was engineered specifically to complement the Mixtape Vol. 1 platform, delivering both a matching visual design and a performance profile optimized for .300 Blackout cartridge.

The suppressor itself was produced using additive manufacturing, commonly referred to as 3D printing, allowing engineers to incorporate complex internal geometries that would be difficult or impossible to achieve through traditional K baffle designs.

Key design features include:

• A larger body diameter to increase internal volume for improved sound reduction

• Complex internal baffle geometry designed to manage gas flow efficiently

• An integrated flash hider to further reduce muzzle flash

• HUB compatibility, allowing shooters to choose their preferred mounting ecosystem

Together, these design elements aim to optimize sound suppression while also minimizing gas blowback toward the shooter an important consideration for suppressed .300 Blackout platforms.
