On January 1st 2020 Senate Bill 705 went into effect in Tennessee. The new law is in regards to acquiring a concealed carry permit within the state. The law of allows for eligible law-abiding citizens of the state of Tennessee to forego the 8-hour conceal carry class and instead take a 90 minute online class.
Yesterday, Ruger had the firearms community and social media buzzing with the release of the Ruger-57, chambered in the exotic FN 5.7 ammunition. Now, we have renowned self defense ammo manufacturer Speer Gold Dot releasing defensive ammo for 5.7 cartridge.

Early this week Nighthawk released their Custom Colt Series 70 1911 pistol which is currently available for purchase. The new Series 70 features several upgrades to the classic Colt. Upgrades in include trigger system, sights, and a match grade 5-inch barrel.

Now, flash forward to late 2019 and Sig Sauer is introducing the P320-M18, the civilian version of compact. The M18 was chosen by the Marine Corps to replace Beretta M9 service pistol.
