Langdon Tactical Teams Up With RifleGear for LTT 1301 SBS

Langdon Tactical has partnered with RifleGear to release an exclusive short-barreled shotgun (SBS) variant of the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2.

Built as a fully customized platform, the LTT 1301 SBS is designed from the ground up for confined-space performance, making it well-suited for both tactical applications and defensive use. By combining Beretta’s proven semi-automatic system with Langdon Tactical’s refinement, the result is a purpose-driven shotgun optimized for speed, handling, and reliability.

Built on a Proven Platform

The LTT 1301 SBS starts with the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2, a platform widely regarded for its reliability and fast cycling characteristics. This SBS configuration features a 15-inch barrel and retains Beretta’s BLINK gas operating system, known for its ability to cycle significantly faster than traditional semi-automatic shotguns.

Langdon Tactical enhances the platform with a suite of upgrades, including:

• Langdon Tactical trigger job for improved pull and reset

• LTT Zhukov handguard or Beretta Patrol forend

• Magpul SGA stock with GG&G adapter

• Extended 5-shot tube with QD sling mounting points

Together, these features create a well-balanced system designed for control, speed, and adaptability in tight environments.

The LTT 1301 Tactical starts off as a Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod2 with Langdon Tactical trigger job for improved trigger pull and weight. The LTT 1301 utilizes an LTT ZHUKOV handguard, or Beretta Patrol forend, to fit the 1301 along with a Magpul SGA stock with a GG&G adapter. Additional features include a 5 shot tube with QD sling mounting points.

The 1301 is Beretta’s gas operated semi-automatic shotgun designed home defense and law enforcement applications. A short 15” barrel makes the 1301 Tactical an ideal shotgun in confined spaces, while enlarged controls allow for use with gloved hands. The integrated BLINK gas operating system, featuring a cross tube gas piston, allows the 1301 Tactical to cycle 36% faster than any other shotgun on the market.

The Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 is the successor to the previous model with several enhancements. The Mod 2 features an updated forend with aggressive knurling and M-LOK sections for optional attachments. A new semi-flat trigger offers a crisp break with minimal reset with a new Pro-Lifter for effortless reloading. The B-LINK system combined with rotating bolt ensures fast, reliable and smart cycling.
