A First Look at Off-Grid Suppressors’ Lineup
CanCon: West was my first opportunity to get hands-on with Off-Grid Suppressors, a Minnesota-based company that began as a retailer and shooting range under the name Off-Grid Armory before moving into suppressor manufacturing.
Off-Grid’s lineup covers everything from .22 LR to .300 Win. Mag. The Scorpius .22 LR is the company’s rimfire offering and won Best .22 LR Can at the 2025 Thunder Beast Suppressor Summit. The lineup also includes the Agent Inco 9K for 9mm and .300 BLK, the Menace for 5.56 and 6mm, the 4.6-ounce Mini Menace, and the multi-caliber Merc.
According to Off-Grid, its suppressors feature 3D-printed titanium construction and complex internal geometries designed to reduce back pressure. The company also advertises no barrel-length restrictions, while the Agent Inco 9K and Menace are rated for full-auto use.
Shooting Impressions
I had the opportunity to shoot both the Menace and Mini Menace at the event.
Off-Grid Menace —— 6mm/5.56

The Menace was mounted on a 7.5-inch SCAR pistol running in its unsuppressed setting. I was surprised by three things: virtually no gas to the face, no noticeable supersonic crack from my shooting position, and impressive sound suppression for such a short setup. Overall, it was a very pleasant shooting experience.
Off-Grid Mini Menace —— 5.56
The Mini Menace was mounted on an M16. Despite its small size, it delivered a solid tone and a light recoil impulse. There was some gas to the face, but it was barely noticeable. It was another pleasant shooting experience.
Initial Impressions
Off-Grid Suppressors has a solid lineup, particularly in the 5.56 and 6mm categories. If the Menace and Mini Menace are representative of the broader lineup, the company has built a promising foundation. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.
