Mission First Tactical Debuts Its First Suppressor Line at CanCon: West
The biggest surprise of CanCon: West was seeing Mission First Tactical (MFT) unveil its first suppressor lineup. When I came across MFT’s booth, I was caught off guard. My first thought was that the company had collaborated with another suppressor manufacturer. Instead, I learned that MFT had developed the suppressors in-house at its Arizona facility.
MFT’s new suppressor lineup will be available in 9mm, 6mm, and .30 caliber. The cans measure between 5.5 and 6 inches in length, putting them in the compact K-category. All models are designed to reduce back pressure and feature 3D-printed titanium construction.
The suppressors are HUB-compatible and feature a raised and recessed hexagonal pattern across the exterior. According to MFT, the design provides additional surface area to help dissipate heat.
Shooting Impressions
At the booth, I had the opportunity to shoot MFT’s 9mm suppressor mounted on a Springfield Kuna and its 6mm suppressor mounted on an SBR.
MFT 9mm Suppressor

The Springfield Kuna proved to be a great host for MFT’s 9mm suppressor. Shooting the suppressed Kuna was a quiet experience, with a smooth recoil impulse.
Paired with the Kuna’s roller-delayed operating system, the suppressor made for a particularly enjoyable shooting experience. Based on my time with it, this is one of the more pleasant roller-delayed platforms I’ve shot.
MFT 6mm Suppressor

Shooting the SBR equipped with MFT’s 6mm suppressor was another positive experience. Sound suppression was impressive, and the recoil impulse felt smooth and manageable.
Both suppressors offered a pleasant shooting experience, though these were brief impressions from the event rather than an extended evaluation.
Initial Impressions
I was genuinely surprised to see MFT enter the suppressor market. It was a move I hadn’t anticipated, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Based on my time with the lineup, MFT appears to have developed a thoughtfully designed set of suppressors. The compact dimensions, titanium construction, and distinctive exterior design give the lineup a clear identity.
It seems like everyone is getting into suppressor manufacturing these days. Now, even one of the major manufacturers of gear, holsters, and firearm accessories is joining the fray. I’m interested to see how MFT’s suppressor lineup develops and how these cans perform beyond a brief range session.
