Recently, FN announced that NATO accepted and standardized FN’s 5.7x28mm cartridge for its standard small arms portfolio. This puts FN in rare company of having a cartridge standardized to be used by NATO forces and allies. The new 5.7x28mm cartridge joins 9x19mm, 5.56x45mm, 7.62x51mm, and .50 BMG as standardized ammunition used by NATO.

On Tuesday, FN unveiled the FN 503 pistol which was designed for the everyday carry pistol for the concealed carry users. The new FN 503 comes in at 5.9” overall length, chambered in 9mm, and weighs a total of 1.31 lbs. The FN 503 comes with a standard six round magazine and a eight round extended magazine. The new FN 503 retails at $549 MSRP.
