Warning!: This is my opinion and hands-on impression of the Ruger-57. My time was limited with the pistol to only the show floor. I didn’t have access to Range Day on Monday. So, my impressions are from the multiple times I visited the Ruger’s booth to spend sometime with the pistol.
Shot Show 2020 is officially kicks off tomorrow. The whole firearm industry converges on the Vegas Strip for the annual convention. Shot Show is the industry event of 2020 to rule them all. Just as Sauron’s ring did long before.
Yesterday, Ruger had the firearms community and social media buzzing with the release of the Ruger-57, chambered in the exotic FN 5.7 ammunition. Now, we have renowned self defense ammo manufacturer Speer Gold Dot releasing defensive ammo for 5.7 cartridge.
It seems that Ruger is gearing up to have a big Shot Show 2019. I haven’t seen Ruger this active before Shot Show since the release of the Ruger Precision Rifle a few years back now. Today, Ruger is dropping a bomb of an announcement and release of their new pistol. The Ruger-57.
