It is sad to see the end of an era in firearms history. For the past 50 years Knob Creek shoot has been one of the premier machine gun shoots in the nation. Over that time hundreds of thousands of people have flocked to Bullitt County, Kentucky for the experience to shoot and look at some of the most rarest firearms out there. People had a chance to shoot: full auto MP-5’s, AR-15s, AK-47s, Ma Deuce (M2 .50 Cal Machinegun), and M134 minigun to name a few. Any firearm you could imagine it was a good chance it was available to look at and shoot at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot.
Hopefully, with the end of the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot another shooting event/extravaganza will step in its place. That’s what we should all hope for in the community.
