Anderson Manufacturing proudly announced their new series of AR-15 based designated marksmanship rifles (DMR). The new AM-15 rifles are aimed competitive shooters with four variants to choose from. The four models you can choose from are The Competitor, The Marksman, The Sharpshooter, and The Varminter. All of Anderson’s AM-15 are chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and come with Schmid Tool two-stage trigger.

Product Description
The Competitor
Geared toward competition, it’s equipped with Anderson’s Stallion muzzle brake to reduce recoil, ambidextrous safety switch and an adjustable Anderson gas block.
Lightweight – This rifle runs a low-mass Anderson bolt carrier group and its 18’’ tapered profile barrel is sheathed by Anderson’s T6 aluminum 15’’ MLOK handguard.
Comfortable – Equipped with Hogue’s OverMolded Rubber Beavertail Grip with Finger Grooves.
The Marksman
Versatile – Based on Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) concept, the 18’’ tapered profile barrel allows the shooter increased range on point targets.
Dual-Purpose Comfort – This rifle is equipped with Magpul’s K2 pistol grip that allows for on-board storage combined with a more vertical, modern grip.
Lightweight – Fitted with Anderson’s 15’’ T6 aluminum MLOK handguard that reduces rifle weight while also accommodating shooter customization forward of the receivers.
Geared towards small predator and varmint hunters, also great for accurate range time.
Enhanced Durability, Reduced Recoil and Optimal Accuracy at Range – This rifle is fitted with Anderson’s 20’’ heavy barrel with target crown sheathed by Anderson’s T6 aluminum 15’’ Round Tube MLOK handguard to reduce weight and allow for shooter customization.
Comfortable – Equipped with Hogue’s OverMolded Rubber Beavertail Grip with Finger Grooves.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
