A couple of years ago, Beretta released the improved and refined Beretta 1301 Tactical. The 1301 Tactical is a lightweight, robust, fast-shooting tactical shotgun. They gave end users a shotgun that would reliably feed and shoot a wide range of ammunition and loads. At Shot Show 2023, Beretta announced its newest tactical shotgun–the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol shotgun.

The A300 Ultima Patrol features enlarged controls, with a more significant bolt release, bolt handle, and loading door. The new shotgun also features textured grips, a Picatinny rail for mounting optics, ghost ring iron sights, and a QD mount for a sling attachment.
