HBO Max has released a new look at its upcoming DC crime drama The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell as the titular gangster and crime boss from the beloved Batman franchise. The new trailer offers a more expansive glimpse into Gotham City and its aftermath following the events of Matt Reeve’s The Batman. The Penguin aims to do some world-building to Reeve’s Batman universe and potentially provide background on the players who may have a role in shaping the next Batman story we see on the big screen. The Penguin will be hitting HBO Max in September of this year.
