Smith & Wesson has officially unveiled the newest member of the Performance Center M&P 2.0 lineup: the ported M&P9 M2.0 Compact Carry Comp. This new pistol from S&W focuses on enhancing the shooter’s experience by reducing recoil with a strategically cut slide and ported barrel.
The new M&P9 M2.0 Compact Carry Comp features Smith & Wesson’s Power Port, which is designed to divert gases upward to reduce felt recoil while shooting. This venting of gases allows for less sight deviation from the target, enabling quicker follow-up shots. The new comp pistol also features the Clear Sight Cut, which diverts gases away from your optic, providing an unobstructed view while shooting. The Compact Carry Comp also boasts a flat face trigger, blacked-out rear sight, and green front night sight. For perfect ergonomics, it includes four interchangeable palm swell grip inserts to accommodate different hand sizes.
