Today, NBA 2K announced the first-ever shared cover for the NBA 2K series. The game’s cover will feature Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces as joint cover athletes, marking a significant collaboration in the franchise’s history.
Tatum and Wilson have been announced as cover athletes for the All-Star Edition of NBA 2K25. Wilson is the first WNBA player to feature as a cover athlete for a global edition of the annual basketball simulation game, and she will also grace the cover of the WNBA edition.

In addition to this milestone, NBA 2K25 will release a Hall of Fame Edition featuring none other than Vince Carter on the cover. Carter, a 22-season NBA veteran and Hall of Famer, brings his legendary career and iconic dunks to this special edition. The Hall of Fame Edition will only be available digitally.

Jayson Tatum, fresh off his first NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics, continues to shine with a record-breaking contract of five years and $314 million. A five-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA First Team selection, Tatum solidifies his status as a dominant force in the league.
A’ja Wilson, widely recognized as the top player in the WNBA, adds another accolade to her resume as the reigning WNBA Finals MVP and a two-time Defensive Player of the Year. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing back-to-back championships for the Las Vegas Aces.

Alongside these cover athlete announcements, 2K Sports revealed plans to enhance parity across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms, with a notable focus on improved support for PC players, although Crossplay support will not be included.
This year’s NBA 2K promises to deliver unparalleled excitement and inclusivity, celebrating the best of basketball across both the NBA and WNBA with its diverse lineup of cover stars and enhanced gaming experiences.
