On Wednesday, Palmetto State Armory released the long-awaited Jakl rifle chambered in .300 Blackout. The new Jakl features PSA’s monolithic upper receiver with a 14.5” barrel, pinned and welded with a SilencerCo ASR flash hider. The Jakl upper sits on a standard AR-15 lower receiver and features a single-stage PSA Enhanced Polished Trigger. To round off the build, the new .300 Blk Jakl features an F5 MFG Modular Stock, a Magpul SL Grip, and a Cerakote FDE finish.

Product Description
Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce the long-awaited release of the JAKL Rifle chambered in .300 AAC Blackout! This platform is built around a 6105 monolithic rifle-length upper receiver designed to be compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver. The PSA JAKL offers a buffer system that is fully captured in the upper receiver, shortening the firearm’s overall length. Completed with a Pin & Weld SilencerCo ASR Flash Hider, an F5 MFG Modular Stock System that allows for a side-folding stock, a Magpul SL Grip, and a PSA Enhanced Polished Trigger fire control group, the Jakl is finished in a Cerakote FDE.
The PSA JAKL features a long-stroke piston design with a Carpenter 158 bolt and a 4340 carrier that are an AK/AR hybrid. Our Knurled JAKL side charging handle is ambidextrous, allowing the user to change positions to the left or right side of the receiver without tools. Equipped with a toolless 8-position gas block, this feature offers the ability to quickly adjust your gas block by hand when needed. Field stripping and removal of the JAKL carrier, recoil assembly, and sled assembly can all be done without tools for effortless cleaning.
SilencerCo ASR Flash Hider, Pin & Welded on 14.5” .300 AAC Blackout Barrel
The ASR Flash Hider is compatible with ASR (Active Spring Retention) Mounts. The ASR Mount is a quick attach/detach system for almost all SilencerCo suppressors. The simple one-hand-on, one-hand-off mounting system is compatible with all ASR Muzzle Devices to promote ease of transfer from one silencer to another. Once shouldered, the locking ring ensures the silencer won’t rotate or work itself loose under a heavy firing schedule. The patent-pending resonance suppression effectively eliminates the tuning-fork effect common with competing 3-prong flash hiders.

Magpul MOE SL Grip
The grip features a more vertical angle optimized for short LOP weapons, bringing the primary hand closer to the shooter’s body. With an aggressive TSP texture for positive weapon control along with excellent ergonomics, the SL Grip provides a slightly smaller size and slimline feel.
EPT FCG
The Enhanced Polished Trigger (EPT) upgrades the standard combat-style fire control group to a single-stage, target-style fire control group with polished contact surfaces and an electroless nickel coating.
