Tyrant CNC has recently released the Tyrant Weapon System 365 (TWS 365), a PDW chassis system built around SIG’s P365 platform. The new chassis transforms the micro-compact pistol into a versatile and modular PDW system for the end user. Tyrant’s engineering team spent more than a year developing the TWS 365 as a standalone platform, with a strong emphasis on modularity, durability, and an intuitive manual of arms. According to Tyrant CNC, the chassis went through over 30 design iterations, with each revision tested and refined to meet internal standards for long-term reliability and real-world practicality.

The TWS 365 is built around a patent-pending hybrid chassis design that combines an aluminum receiver with a polymer grip and integrated magazine holder, reducing weight while maintaining structural rigidity. The system converts the P365 into a compact PDW platform by incorporating AR-style controls, a dual-magazine setup for onboard magazine retention and storage, and a removable blast shield designed to mitigate muzzle blast while expanding accessory mounting space. A patent-pending, spring-loaded side-folding brace, along with a rear Picatinny interface, further supports compact storage and rapid deployment—reinforcing the TWS 365’s focus on thoughtful system integration and ease of use.

One year ago, our engineering team began a need-to-know only project code-named TWS365. The mission: design the smallest, most versatile PDW/PCC chassis ever created for the Sig Sauer P365 platform. It had to be lightweight yet durable, adaptable yet simple, and built to rival the ruggedness of legendary PDWs like the MP5 — without sacrificing concealability or cost-effectiveness.

The result is the Tyrant Weapon System 365 (TWS365), a purpose-built chassis that transforms your P365 into a compact PDW weapon system. It is the single most ambitious project our team has ever undertaken — a fusion of aerospace-inspired engineering, modern ergonomics, and battle-ready durability.

Engineered with Purpose

Every component of the TWS365 was designed to be modular, serviceable, and intuitive to use. By blending polymer for ergonomics and aluminum for strength, we created a system that balances weight savings with unmatched rigidity built to last a lifetime of hard use.

• Removable Aluminum Blast Shield with Bottom Picatinny – Controls muzzle blast and provides accessory space for lights, lasers, or more.

• Spring-Loaded Side-Folding Brace (Patent Pending) – Self-actuated and precision-milled from aluminum, it deploys instantly with rear button actuation and folds flush when stowed. The brace can be activated by depressing the rear-mounted lever with your thumb or the top of the hand when grabbing the TWS.

• Removable Magazine Holder with Ambidextrous Release – Dual-magazine system allows faster reloads with AR-15 style controls. Designed for primary-hand operation: thumb for the pistol grip mag, index finger for the magazine holder release, or both for a dual drop. Carry’s 2 XMacro/Fuse magazines for a total of up to 50 rounds of ammunition on system. 

• Rear-Mounted Picatinny Rail – Ready for the brace or future expansions.

• Hybrid Chassis Construction (Patent Pending) – Aluminum receiver for strength, polymer grip and magazine holder for comfort and weight reduction.

• Tool Steel & Stainless Components – Self-captured pins, annealed springs, and interlocking geometry ensure reliability and endurance under extreme use.
