Rosco Manufacturing has released their new 11.5” K9 barrel with a black nitride finish. The new 11.5” barrel features Rosco’s proprietary patrol length gas system that is claimed to offer smoother recoil than the classic carbine length gas system. The barrel features a 1/2×28 thread pitch and Rosco recommends a 10” handguard for your build.
Below, is the product release from Rosco Manufacturing on the 11.5” K9 barrel.
Product Description
October 2022: Rosco Manufacturing, an American manufacturer of high-quality pistol barrels, rifle barrels, & firearm accessories is proud to announce the launch of their 11.5” K9 barrel. This barrel is sponsored and extensively tested by Jon Dufresne of Kinetic Consulting, a very well-respected industry professional.
The K9 11.5” 5.56 NATO barrel offers a proprietary patrol length gas system that is smoother than carbine length and more reliable than mid-length. Features an optimized gas port to run reliably suppressed and/or unsuppressed. The K9 continuous taper is the most effective profile to dissipate heat from hard use. With weight shifted to the back of the barrel, modern attachments on the front of the rifle create a perfectly balanced and better handling rifle. Updated target crown carried over from the Purebred series with improved harmonics, fit and finish.
Made in the USA, the Rosco way!
The 11.5” K9 barrel is available now on Rosco’s website and retails for $169 MSRP. There are also options to add on a non-adjustable gas block for an additional $45 or a non-adjustable one for $150.
