SIG SAUER Expands the P365 Lineup With the New P365 FUSE TACOPS

Recently, SIG SAUER announced the latest addition to its wildly successful micro-compact pistol ecosystem with the new P365 FUSE TACOPS. Building on the proven P365 platform, the FUSE TACOPS pushes the design further into the performance and duty-ready category while maintaining the slim ergonomics that made the series a market leader.

The TACOPS configuration blends increased shootability, capacity, and factory-installed enhancements into a turnkey package aimed at serious users.

Extended Performance With Full-Size Handling

The P365 FUSE TACOPS features deep, angled, and aggressive front and rear slide serrations designed to improve manipulation in adverse conditions while also allowing confident press checks. A factory 4.9-inch threaded barrel extends the pistol’s sight radius and improves controllability while providing immediate compatibility with suppressors or compensators.

At this overall length, the TACOPS begins to approach full-size handgun dimensions, but its slimmer profile preserves the concealability and ergonomics the P365 family is known for. The result is a pistol that aims to bridge the gap between concealed carry and duty-capable performance.

Additional TACOPS enhancements include:

• Detachable flared magwell

• Extended slide catch lever

• XRAY3 day/night sights

• Four 21-round steel magazines with high-visibility followers

• Interchangeable backstrap system (appears included based on product imagery)

Together, these features create a pistol that arrives ready for defensive, training, or professional applications without requiring immediate aftermarket upgrades.

The pistol ships equipped with a factory-installed ROMEO-X Compact optic utilizing the SIG-LOC mounting system.

This fully enclosed optic is sealed, gas-purged, and assembled in the United States. The SIG-LOC interface mounts the optic from underneath the slide, creating what SIG describes as one of the strongest optic lockups currently available while maintaining a low deck height that allows standard-height iron sight co-witness.

The side-loading battery further enhances usability by allowing battery changes without removing the optic.

Manufacturer Description

The P365-FUSE TACOPS takes the P365 platform in a more performance-driven direction, pairing extended slide length with the same TACOPS readiness shooters expect.

A factory OEM 4.9” threaded barrel increases sight radius and controllability while offering suppressor and muzzle-device compatibility straight from the factory. The longer slide and refined balance allow the FUSE to shoot flatter and track more like a full-size pistol, while retaining the slim ergonomics of the P365 family.

TACOPS enhancements include a detachable flared magwell, an extended slide catch lever, and four 21-round steel magazines, ensuring the pistol arrives well equipped for serious use. XRAY3 day/night sights support fast, consistent sighting across lighting conditions. A factory-installed ROMEO-X mounted with SIG-LOC completes the system without becoming the focus.

This is the P365 pushed further: more capacity, more control, and more readiness from the factory.

Conclusion & Pricing

The P365 FUSE TACOPS represents an interesting evolution of the P365 ecosystem. Rather than remaining strictly within the micro-compact category, SIG appears to be positioning the platform as a modular performance handgun capable of filling multiple roles from concealed carry to range and duty applications.

With its extended barrel, factory optic, increased capacity, and TACOPS enhancements, the pistol arrives as a complete system rather than a base model requiring upgrades. The real question will be how the platform performs under sustained use compared to established full-size duty pistols in the same price range.

If execution matches the ambition, the FUSE TACOPS could become one of the more versatile offerings in the modern striker-fired market.

The SIG P365 FUSE TACOPS is available now with an MSRP of $1,249.
