Canik Launches Void Series Of Suppressors in Partnership With Otter Creek Labs
Canik is making a significant move beyond handguns, officially entering the suppressor market with its new Void series.
For a brand that has steadily built its reputation in the U.S. pistol market since its introduction around 2018–2019, this marks a notable expansion. It’s not just a new product line, it’s a shift into a category dominated by specialized manufacturers.
Built With Proven Expertise
To make that jump, Canik didn’t go it alone.
The Void series was developed in partnership with Otter Creek Labs, a company widely recognized for producing high-performance suppressors. Leveraging that experience allowed Canik to accelerate development while ensuring the platform meets modern expectations for durability, sound performance, and backpressure management.
Rifle Suppressors: Flexible and Purpose-Driven

The initial Void lineup launches with three rifle suppressors:
• Void-762
• Void-556
• Void-556K
This gives end users the ability to choose a dedicated 5.56 solution for AR platforms or opt for a .30-caliber suppressor capable of covering multiple calibers across different rifles.
All rifle suppressors are configured for direct-thread mounting, with:
• 5/8×24 thread pitch for .30 caliber
• 1/2×28 thread pitch for 5.56
In addition, the entire lineup is HUB compatible, allowing users to run their preferred mounting systems and muzzle devices without being locked into a proprietary ecosystem.
Expanding Into Pistol and PCC Use
Canik is also preparing to expand the lineup with a dedicated Void-9 suppressor for pistol and PCC applications.
The upcoming 9mm can will feature a 3D-printed construction and interchangeable front caps, giving users the ability to fine-tune sound suppression while optimizing for reduced backpressure: a key consideration for both handguns and blowback-operated platforms.
Availability & Pricing
The Void series is available now, with rifle suppressors retailing at $649, while the upcoming Void-9 is expected to carry an MSRP of $849.
With this launch, Canik is stepping into a highly competitive space but doing so with the right partnerships and a clear focus on modularity and user choice. If executed well, the Void series could position Canik as more than just a pistol manufacturer and signal a broader play across the firearms ecosystem.
