LaRue Tactical Blends AR Ergonomics With Precision Bolt-Action Performance in the BAR*NONE

LaRue Tactical is known for designing, engineering, and manufacturing high-quality AR-15s, AR-10s, and precision bolt-action rifles that have built a reputation around accuracy, durability, and reliability under hard use. Now, Larue is excited to announce their 50 state legal BAR*NONE bolt action rifle.

The BAR*NONE is LaRue’s attempt to bridge the gap between the familiar ergonomics of the AR platform and the precision-focused simplicity of a bolt gun. Instead of reinventing the wheel, LaRue leaned into what shooters already know and understand from the AR-15/AR-10 platforms while incorporating a 50-state legal bolt action.

The BAR*NONE will be available in both small-frame and large-frame configurations. The small-block variant features a 20-inch barrel and is chambered in either 5.56 NATO or .300 Blackout. The large-block version steps up to a 24-inch barrel and is chambered in either .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor, giving shooters options ranging from compact utility rifles to long-range precision setups.

Below is the official product description from LaRue Tactical on the BAR*NONE bolt-action rifle.

We are excited to introduce the LaRue BAR*NONE, our 50-state legal bolt-action rifle that combines the precision of a bolt-action rifle with the versatile, user-friendly design of our renowned LT-15 and LT-10 lines. Proudly made in Texas, at the dead center of precision, this rifle reflects our commitment to quality and top-tier performance. Shipping available to all 50 states.

For forty-five years, LaRue has chased one obsession: rifles and components that hit dead center, every time. The BAR*NONE boasts an innovative manual bolt-action system which, when paired with a LaRue barrel, delivers SUB-MOA accuracy at home on the range or in the field.

Engineered and manufactured in Leander, Texas. We’ve taken the LT-15 and LT-10 platforms to new heights by merging classic bolt-action excellence with contemporary ergonomics.

If precision and reliability are non-negotiable, the BAR*NONE is built for you.

Final Thoughts & Pricing

What makes the BAR*NONE interesting is not necessarily that it is another bolt-action rifle entering the market, but that LaRue is clearly targeting shooters who are already invested in the AR ecosystem. The controls, ergonomics, and overall layout appear designed to feel immediately familiar to AR-15 and AR-10 users while still delivering the consistency and mechanical simplicity that bolt guns are known for.

At its current price point, the BAR*NONE also enters the market aggressively priced. The small-block configuration starts at an MSRP of $999, while the larger-caliber big-block rifles retail for $1,249. In a market where precision rifles can quickly climb in price, LaRue appears to be positioning the BAR*NONE as an accessible option for shooters looking for a precision-focused rifle without abandoning the handling characteristics they already know.

The LaRue BAR*NONE is available now through LaRue Tactical dealers and the company’s website.
