Sig Sauer Unveils the New P365-Mach3D
In 2018, SIG Sauer introduced the P365 platform, which helped define the modern micro-compact pistol market. SIG’s newest pistol features a slim profile, high-capacity magazines, easy concealability for EDC use, and a form factor designed around concealed carry.
Over the years, SIG Sauer has continued to iterate, develop, and improve the P365 platform with the XL, X-Macro, XL-Comp, Rose, and Sig Custom Shop models. Now, SIG Sauer is adding another chapter to the P365 story with the newly announced P365-Mach3D at the SIG Next event.
What We Need to Know
- The SIG P365-Mach3D features redesigned front and rear slide serrations designed to provide positive slide manipulation across diverse conditions. The slide comes optics-ready and utilizes SIG’s LOC Compact, which supports optic footprints such as the Shield RSMc and Holosun K footprints.
- The Mach3D features a 3.4-inch bull barrel equipped with the Mach3D compensator. According to SIG Sauer, the compensator reduces muzzle rise by up to 30%.
- The pistol features the X-Macro grip module with interchangeable backstraps and a Picatinny rail out front.
- The interchangeable backstraps allow users to refine their grip and purchase on the firearm, while the Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of weapon lights, lasers, or combination light-and-laser devices.
- The P365-Mach3D features a redesigned flat-face trigger with a slimmer profile than the previous generation.
