On Monday Pennsylvania Attorney General Shapiro held a press conference with Gov. Tim Wolfe, Pennsylvania State Police, and State Legislators on the classification of 80% receivers to be recognized as firearms under the state law.
Over the past weekend Oklahoma’s constitutional carry law HB 2597 went into effect. The law was signed by Governor Kevin Stitt back in February of this year. Oklahoma becomes the 16th State in the Union to allow constitutional carry in their state.
In Tacoma, Washington the Tacoma City Council are looking to enact a new tax on both firearms and ammunition according to The News Tribune. The vote for the new tax was initially set for October 29th but was delayed. The City Council will now vote on November 12th meeting to approve the firearm and ammunition tax.
Two weeks ago Florida filed bill HB 273 which allows constitutional carry for Florida residents. The bill allows for residents to carry concealed weapons without the need of a CCW permit.
An attack on one freedom is an attack on all freedoms. Now, is the time to stand up and fight for are freedoms or watch them erode before our eyes. California Senator Diane Feinstein is proposing a bill for legislation that would ban the sale, manufacture, and transfer of military-style assault weapons, such as the AR-15 and AK platform.
Tomorrow, House Democrats will try to push bill HR 1296 through the House and into the senate. The bill would reintroduce the 1994 assault rifle ban. While also banning nearly all semiautomatic rifles, as well as AR and AK pistols, and institute “buy back program” for your property.
On Monday the NRA-ILA posted an article on their website titled Florida Alert! “Assault Weapons” Ban Amendment Bans ALL SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLES AND SHOTGUNS.
Back in 2016 Proposition 63 was put on California’s state ballot during the 2016 Presidential Election. The Proposition mandates that all ammunition sales must submit a eligibility background check when purchasing ammunition, bans high-capacity magazines, and levies fines for firearms owners who do not report lost or stolen firearms to the police.
