Oklahoma’s Constitutional Carry Law Now In Effect

Over the past weekend Oklahoma’s constitutional carry law HB 2597 went into effect. The law was signed by Governor Kevin Stitt back in February of this year. Oklahoma becomes the 16th State in the Union to allow constitutional carry in their state.

Tacoma City Council Members Seek To Enact New Firearm and Ammo Tax

In Tacoma, Washington the Tacoma City Council are looking to enact a new tax on both firearms and ammunition according to The News Tribune. The vote for the new tax was initially set for October 29th but was delayed. The City Council will now vote on November 12th meeting to approve the firearm and ammunition tax.

Injunction Request To Be Filled In California Ammunition Tax Lawsuit

Back in 2016 Proposition 63 was put on California’s state ballot during the 2016 Presidential Election. The Proposition mandates that all ammunition sales must submit a eligibility background check when purchasing ammunition, bans high-capacity magazines, and levies fines for firearms owners who do not report lost or stolen firearms to the police.
