Last week, the CIA released photos from Operation Jawbreaker on Twitter. These photos are simple in nature but speak volumes with their imagery. These photos released by the CIA show a glimpse into the government response after 9/11 attacks.
Today, marks the 18th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. A day that will live in infamy in American history. On that morning 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists took control of four flights and caused tremendous loss of life on American soil. Two of those flights destroyed a symbol of American society and prosperity, The Twin Towers in New York City.
On Monday, the steps towards peace came closer when a U.S. Convoy showed a draft of the U.S.-Taliban deal to Afghan leaders. However, It is unclear if the draft was giving to President Ashraf Ghani and his team.
