Early Tuesday morning around 6 am a team of FBI agents were executing a federal search warrant in Miami, Fl. In the execution of that warrant, a firefight broke out leaving two FBI agents killed and three wounded. The suspect who the search warrant was being served to was killed during the engagement.

The FBI processed the second-highest number of NICS checks in a single day. On Black Friday this year the FBI processed 202,465 NICS background checks. For comparison on Black Friday 2018 the FBI conducted only 182,093 NICS checks.
