On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry released a video showing the Okhotnik (Hunter) taking off, performing maneuvers and landing. The The ministry has said that the drone, which has advanced reconnaissance and stealth capabilities, first flew for 20 minutes Saturday.
The new drone was developed by Sukhoi company. Sukhoi produces a wide range of military jets for the Russian military.
Russian media reports the new wedge shaped drone weighs in at 20 tons, has one jet engine, a top speed of 620 miles per hour, and a flight range up to $3,100 miles. The new drone also features stealth technology, anti-radar coating and surveillance equipment. Information on Russia’s new drone is scarce because of the classified nature and development of the drone.

I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
