Geissele continues to grow their product line extensively over the last couple of years. Geissele has started the manufacturing and production of bolt carrier groups (BCG’s) and barrels. They have added the Special Agent line of products that are parts used to fulfill parts for government agencies, mainly the FBI. Now, Geissele has jumped into the optics market with the Super Precision 1-6x optic.

Now, Geissele has jumped into the optics market with the Super Precision 1-6x optic.
The Super Precision is a1-6x power by Geissele is a second focal plane optic. Geissele designed the Super Precision with AR-15 platform specifically in mind. Geissele combines true 1-6x power optic with the DMRR-1 reticle to allow users to quickly acquire targets, range estimate, and employ accurate shots on target.
The Super Precision features a 26mm objective lens with premium glass. The high quality lenses allow for crystal clear images and vivid images for the shooter. Those premium lenses are housed in 30mm tube made from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. Geissele new optic is available in black or ddc (dirt desert coating).

Product Description
The Super Precision 1-6 by Geissele Automatics is a robust 1-6x26mm rifle scope designed specifically with the AR platform in mind. Combining the Geissele DMRR-1 reticle with the scope’s zoom range (true 1x to 6x) allows the user to quickly acquire a target, estimate range and employ accurate fire at short to medium ranges. A 26mm objective lens increases light transmission that lets the extremely high quality lenses render a crystal clear and vivid image that is both sharp and color accurate. This scope has a 30mm Tube size, and is made from Aircraft Grade 6061-T6 aluminum. It is finished in your choice of black or ddc Type-3 Hardcoat Anodize.
The DMRR-1 Reticle is custom to Geissele Automatics and allows the user quick range estimation and the ability to place accurate firepower at the most useful distances for most shooters. By using MILs, our DMRR-1 reticle is not tied down to a single caliber, making our scope appropriate for a wide variety of platforms and uses, there are hlaf mil markings as well to help with further dial in adjustments. The range estimation feature (accurate at 6x) of the DMRR-1 Reticle lets you quickly and effectively range a standard target at a distance of 3, 4 and 5 hundred meters using shoulder width or shoulder to waist ratio. Being a Second Focal Plane, the DMRR-1 reticle will maintain its size through the scope’s zoom levels.

The Geissele Super Precision is not available for sale yet on Geissele’s website. The new optic will probably be on sale during Shot Show or with the spring of 2020. The suggested retail price for the Super Precision1-6x is $975 for the black and $1,075 for the ddc.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
