Last week, Christensen Arms released a new bolt action rifle to there lineup. This rifle is unique from Christensen other offerings in that it is compact and lightweight bolt action short barrel rifle. Christensen calls the newly designed rifle the Modern Precision Pistol or MPP for short. This purpose built bolt action SBR will serve as an ideal truck gun, backpacking, or back country bolt action rifle.
The new MPP weighs in at a meager 4.4 to 5.8 pounds. The new bolt gun in chambered in one of four different calibers with a threaded barrel. Those calibers are .300 blackout, .223 REM, 6.5 Creed, and .308 Win. The barrels length vary from 7.5 inches to 12 inches depending on caliber you choose for the MPP.
The MPP also features Christensen Arms’ carbon fiber barrel. Also, included is an adjustable side-baffle rake and precision-machined action fluted bolt. A 20-MOA optic rail and a forward mounted rail with integrated barricade stop. The chassis rounds it off with a Trigger Tech flat face trigger, pistol grip, QD and M-Lok attachment points. While rocking an SB Tactical folding brace for east storage.
Christensen Arms provides a compact and lightweight bolt action short barrel rifle (sbr) with the MPP. Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
