Meridian Defense Corporation’s Special Projects Division has unleashed another rifle apart of its 7 Sins custom AK series. Meridian has unveiled the seventh sin—Pride. Pride is a milled Bulgarian receiver with an under folder stock. With the Pride AK Meridian has chosen to keep it a classic under folder with no modern upgrades or accessories.
Meridian Defense’s Pride AK is chambered in 7.62x39mm. This is AK is built from an Bulgarian parts kit with a MDC’s milled receiver, barrel, and trigger. The receiver is CNC machined and treated to a Rockwell hardness of 40 HRC. It has Bulgarian pattern AK safety markings on the receiver. The barrel is made out of 4150 CMV steel with a black nitride finish. Meridian’s Pride AK features a 14×1 left handed muzzle threads. The rifle is finished in Russian matte black paint.

The MDC Classic Type 3 Milled Bulgarian pattern underfolder rifle is US made and chambered in 7.62x39mm. Built with RARE original Bulgarian military parts, this rifle features our milled underfolder receiver with a milled Bulgarian profile US made barrel, original Bakelite furniture and original black Russian paint!
MDC Classic Milled Underfolder Receiver built with attention to detail using CNC machines to ensure accuracy. The receiver is fully heat treated in a salt bath to a hardness of 40 HRC. Our receivers have the original Bulgarian Safe & Fire markings as well as the Selector Notches. Receivers are tumbled for smooth carrier cycling and function Built with original Type 3 Bulgarian military parts.

• All crucial components thoroughly inspected and measured for proper tolerances.
• US Made Milled Bulgarian profile Barrel is 4150 CMV with Nitride finish for a lifetime of hard use.
• Properly head spaced with Go-Gauge, No-Go-Gauge, Field-Gauge, and live cartridges for reliable use.
• 14x1L threaded barrel and plunger equipped front sight block allows for use of standard 14x1L devices on this AK.

Now, a little bit about me. I served six years in the Marines Corps as an 0311. I was in 2nd BN 4th Marines, 5th Marine Reg, 1st Mar Div. I was in Golf Company while in 2/4. I was deployed twice during my time in. I did one deployment to Afghanistan and my second was on apart of 31st MEU. I departed the military in September of 2015. I currently work as an RSO at a local range in Vegas.
